Arsov 90 Ltd. was the first owner of a timber-sawing factory in the village of Mitrovtsi, Northwestern Bulgaria. We have a steady, legally regulated timber supply approved by the Ministry of Forestry, and for decades we have been an established leader in the region for beech processing. We provide stable supplies of beech boards, beech, and softwood timber to clients in Bulgaria and abroad.

We source our raw material directly from the Western Stara Planina region, working with compact, efficient equipment designed to preserve both the quality of the timber and the forest itself.

A Closed, Zero-Waste Production Cycle

  • We actively invest in improving our processing technologies and making full use of the timber. At our sawmill, the production process is fully closed, and we work purposefully toward a zero-waste production concept, so that every part of the raw material finds a use.
  • Our main raw material is beech (Fagus sylvatica L.), with a density of around 1100 kg/m³, a wood known for its exceptional technical qualities. The finished beech boards undergo hot steam treatment, a process that significantly improves the material’s durability and gives it its characteristic pinkish-red hue. These properties make common beech one of the most sought-after types of timber on the market, widely used in furniture manufacturing, turning, and the production of industrial components.

Wood With Character

  • Beech is distinguished by its pale wood with a reddish or yellowish tint and clearly defined medullary rays, which form a beautiful, recognizable texture once processed. Air drying before kiln drying ensures consistent stability for further use.
  • We actively participate in developing sustainable methods for forest management and timber utilization, including in partnership with educational institutions, with a focus on balancing environmental, social, and economic interests.

Certificate of Origin

When purchasing beech boards, flooring, or timber, we issue a certificate of origin for the wood, guaranteeing transparency and traceability for every delivery.
